What the edition includes
Everything, in one app. There are no tiers, add-ons or features held back for a higher price. Each line links to the guide that shows it working on a worked example.
| Feature | What it does | See it |
|---|---|---|
| Every lap, kept | Each lap is written to disk the moment the game times it — out-laps and invalid laps too, each marked for what it is. | F1 25 telemetry, explained |
| Two-lap overlay | Speed, delta, throttle, brake and gear for any two laps of a session — or a lap against its matched target — on one distance axis, with sector bands. | Compare two laps |
| Braking table | Every braking zone's brake point, entry and minimum speed, peak brake and time, side by side. | Braking points |
| Theoretical best and optimal lap | Your best sectors, and your best 100 m pieces, added up — the time you have already driven. | Theoretical best lap |
| Practice plan | Against a faster lap: the gap every 100 m, up to three sections to practise, what was different in each, and replay at 1×, 2× or 4×. | Chase a target lap |
| Consistency and debrief | Typical lap, spread, the weakest sector, the least repeatable brake point, and what to work on. | Lap time consistency |
| Fuel, tyres and pit stops | F1 25 laps: fuel used, the game's fuel estimate, compound, wear, temperatures and every pit visit. | Fuel and tyres |
| Your season record | Your best at every track against your first session there, and your laps, week by week. | Track your progress |
| Reference lap imports | A friend's, teammate's or coach's StintLab lap file as a target for yours, in the same car, track and settings. It never counts as your driving. | Importing a lap |
| Printable report and CSV | The session report as a PDF, and lap-times.csv for a spreadsheet. | League racing prep |
| Setup check | Says what is working, what needs attention and exactly what to change. | F1 25 setup |
What you need
| What it needs | Notes | |
|---|---|---|
| PC | Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit | The PC you race on. Not Mac or Linux; console versions of the games are not supported. |
| Game | F1 25 on PC, or Assetto Corsa on PC | F1 25 in either telemetry format; Assetto Corsa with nothing to set up. What is and is not read. |
| Wheel, pedals or pad | Any | StintLab reads the game, never the hardware. Your sim rig, measured. |
| Disk | About 50 KB a lap | Laps live in your own user folder, as plain files. |
| Internet | None to run it | Setup fetches Microsoft's WebView2 runtime once if your PC lacks it. |
How editions work
Each F1 game ships a new telemetry layout, so StintLab is sold by edition, and the edition is the year of the games it reads. You buy one edition and keep it.
- The 2026 edition reads F1 25 in both of its telemetry formats — F1 25 and the 2026 Season Pack — and Assetto Corsa.
- The version number says which edition a build is: 2026.1.0 is the 2026 edition, fix level 1.0.
- A new F1 game means a new edition, which is a separate purchase. Buying it is your choice, not a condition of keeping this one.
- Nothing expires. There is no licence key, no activation and no check that phones home — so there is nothing that can stop the edition you bought from working, or from opening every lap you recorded with it.
What you are not paying for
- A subscription. One payment. There is no monthly fee to stop your laps opening.
- An account. The app never asks for an email, a login or a profile.
- A server. Your laps are never uploaded. The app makes no outbound connection — no analytics, no licence check.
- Lock-in. Every lap is a plain JSON file and every report a self-contained HTML page. Copy the folder anywhere and your season is backed up.
Refunds
14 days, no argument. Email hello@stintlab.info within 14 days of buying, with your payment id or the email you bought with, and you get your money back. You do not have to give a reason or prove you uninstalled anything.
After 14 days, ask anyway: if StintLab cannot read your game, or a bug means the lap times it shows you are wrong, that is not a question of satisfaction and the window does not really apply. Refunded or not, the laps it recorded stay in your folder. The full terms are on the refunds, privacy and licence page.

Questions
Is StintLab a subscription?
No. It is $19.99 USD, paid once, for the 2026 edition. There is no renewal, and nothing in the app stops working if you never pay again.
Is there a free trial?
There is no trial build. Instead, refunds are 14 days with no reason needed — and the guides on this site show the numbers StintLab's own analysis code computes, on synthetic laps, so you can see what you are buying before you buy it.
What happens when the next F1 game comes out?
Each F1 game ships a new telemetry layout, so reading it means a new edition, which is a separate purchase. Your 2026 edition keeps working on F1 25 and Assetto Corsa, and keeps opening every lap you recorded with it, for good.
Can I install it on more than one PC?
Yes. The licence is personal: install it on the PCs you personally drive on. You may not resell or redistribute StintLab itself.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No account, and no internet connection to run it. The one time the installer may go online is to fetch Microsoft's WebView2 runtime, if your PC does not have it.
How do I pay?
Through the checkout of Dodo Payments, the merchant of record. Your card details go to Dodo, never to this site, and Dodo handles any sales tax or VAT due where you live; you see the total before you pay.
Can I get a refund after 14 days?
Ask anyway. If StintLab cannot read your game, or a bug means the lap times it shows you are wrong, the policy says the 14-day window does not really apply: that is not a question of satisfaction. Email the address on this page with your payment id or the email you bought with.
When does it go on sale?
When the 2026 edition has been finished against real sessions. Leave an email on this page and you get one message on the day, with the download link and the setup guide — and nothing else.
